History and present

The VF company was founded in 1992 by a group of radiation protection experts from the state owned company ZPA Brno. ZPA Brno was assigned by the state as the company responsible for radiation monitoring systems installation and commissioning at nuclear power plants in former Czechoslovakia.

After the political changes of 1989 (the so called “velvet revolution”) the former group of experts from ZPA established a new private company in Černá Hora with the name VF.

VF further developed this expertise and later started development of its own radiation protection instrumentation.

Due to excellent results and client satisfaction VF became one of the leading companies providing complete services and solutions focused on radiation protection and monitoring in the Czech and Slovak Republics.
