02/03/2012VF, a.s. were the successful tenderer for the supply of a spectrometric monitor for operation at the Bátaapáti (Hungary) low and intermediate radioactive waste repository.
In November 2011, VF, a.s. signed the contract for the supply of a spectrometric monitor (including a calibration source) for the Hungarian low and intermediate level radwaste repository in Bátaapáti. The contracting authority is Hulladékokat Kezelő Közhasznú Nonprofit KFT who are the Hungarian national organization responsible for radioactive waste treatment. The initial phase of the project requires VF to complete construction work at the client site. The second phase requires VF to obtain the necessary permits and certificates from the competent Hungarian authorities for the operation of the spectrometric monitor.
