Development of standard procedures for medical irradiation to mitigate the consequences of medical irradiation: Analysis of current procedures used in medical irradiation on workplaces in the Czech Republic. Project run by the Ministry of Healthcare for support of quality in healthcare.
Draft of the standard procedures unifying identified elements of good practice. Elaboration of the final version of the standards for publication in the Bulletin of the Ministry of healthcare under wide opponent procedure from medical and physical experts. The standards state requirements on technical equipment and qualification of personnel for performance of medical irradiation. The standards are to be viewed and used as models for medical workplaces to elaborate their own detailed and local workplace-specific standards.
Development of methodology for introduction and practicing of clinical audit on workplaces that perform medical irradiation. The main goal of the audit is to verify elaboration of local standard in accordance with requirements of national standards, verification of their introduction in praxis. The system of audits was established to verify meeting national standards requirements by periodical audit inspections on the workplaces.
