On 30th September 2011 VF successfully completed supply of the Laundry Contamination Monitor and Radiation Monitoring System for special laundry at Dukovany NPP.

At this workplace protection clothing used in restricted area of Dukovany NPP are washed. The area gamma monitor MDG-02 and local display unit LZJ-22 were supplied as a part of radiation monitoring system for the working environment as well as hand and foot contamination monitor.

The most important product supplied was LCM-300 Laundry Contamination Monitor, which was designed to meet client’s specification. Laundry is put on conveyor belt, which will transport it through the measurement tunnel between the two arrays of detectors positioned against each other: 4 gamma detectors from the bottom and 8 beta detectors from the top. The monitor has very low detectable activities which enables fulfilling the requirements of the Czech legislation for the monitoring of the tools used in restricted area. ore details about the LCM-300 monitor can be found in the data sheet which is available on our website.
